• Excelled in swimming at a young age competing to a county level with Boldmere Swimming Club
• Persued Netball maintaining some swimming training for fitness, representing Birmingham County Netball from 2004 - 2007
• Undertook a charity swim in 2008 on behalf of the British Heart Foundation - Bournemouth Pier to Pier
• For 2 years trained with the University of Birmingham Swimming Squad
• Undertook a 1.4 mile open-water swim in Maine, USA - Summer 2010
