Refunds

Once a course has commenced, our policy is not to issue refunds, however we would consider a request for a refund if supported by a letter from your General Practitioner setting out the reason for the swimmers non-attendance. Such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Should we agree to issue a refund, payment will be sent by direct transfer within 7 days after member details have been confirmed.

Cancellation

  1. 15 days prior to it's commencement then a full refund will be given.
  2. 8-14 days prior to the start of a course, an administration cost of £25.00 will be deducted from the course fee.
  3. Up to 7 days prior to the start of the course, no refund will be given.

Payment of Fees

Preferred method of payment is online, through the S4 Payment Page*

If paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to 'S4 Swim School. A 50 pence cost should be added for cheque payments.

Please note, to confirm your place, we ask that you pay promptly.

*Payment instructions will be communicated when enrolling onto a course

Re-Booking

Your term plans (downloadable from your member page) w ill detail the dates of the re-enrolment period for the next course. Re-enrolment invoices will state when the current member priority booking period ends, after which places become open to new members.

Video and Photography

S4 may arrange to have photos/videos taken of S4 swimmers during swimming lessons by a CRB checked operator. Photos/videos will only be taken of swimmers where parental consent has been given.

We request that members do not take their own videos and photographs at our swim school sessions.

All S4 Swim School videos and photography and logos/illustrations are the copyright of S4 Swim School Ltd. Scanning or reproduction of any of the above without our written agreement will be regarded as being in breach of our copyright and dealt with accordingly.

S4 Swim School Ltd. may use photos/videos for marketing purposes once parental consent has been given.

Changing Pools

Should you need to switch swimming pools we will do our best to accommodate this change, however this can not be guaranteed.

Service Withdrawal

S4 Swim School Ltd. may refuse entry to a client to its courses if it is felt that the client's behaviour/actions are unreasonable.

Providing Teachers

S4 Swim School will always try to ensure children have the same swimming teacher over a course however we cannot guarantee this a s teachers may fall ill or leave the swim school. We can not always give advance warning of a new teacher. We will ensure the instructor is suitably qualified and has completed S4 Swim School's training requirements.

Medical Conditions

S4 Swim School will request information of any medical conditions for any swimmer booking on to our courses. You agree to inform S4 Swim School of any changes to medical conditions when you are aware of them. This information will be kept confidential with S4 Swim School. Swimming instructors working for us will be informed of medical conditions to improve the safety for the swimmer and to prepare them in the event of a medical emergency.

Belongings/Valuables

Property left in the changing rooms or poolside or anywhere else on the venue premises is left at your own risk and we can not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. Please remember to remove all jewellery before entering the swimming pool.

Liability Exclusion

In the event of any proven negligence or lack of due awareness or breach of duty by the instructor(s), S4 Swim School Ltd, its franchisees or employees, the participation of you, your spouse/partner, child or those in whose care you have placed your child for the purpose of taking part in or watching S4 Swim School's swim lesson is done so completely at your and their own risk. Where, equipment or swimming goggles are borrowed at sessions S4 Swim School are not responsible for any related health issues.

Terms and Conditions Changes

Where are terms are updated we will notify you of any changes by sending you an updated version. You are free to reject these changes by notifying us in writing with in 14 days of your receipt of the new version. If we do not receive this is writing we will treat our agreement with you as being relevant to the updated version.
